kimartist: I don't know why my digital drawing was removed from this contest. I received a private message but I'm unable to read it. Javascript doesn't work in my browser, so I'm unable to use half the features on this website (i.e. I click on "buttons" and nothing happens). Very discouraging. ( 5 years and 2482 days ago )
kimartist: Whoops, I meant to say watercolor-pencil drawing. ( 5 years and 2482 days ago )
solkee: Read the rules people, "To keep the contests fair, these contests require that you post at least 2 intermediate steps of your drawing in a step by step guide, so we can see the progress of your work". ( 5 years and 2480 days ago )

kimartist: What rules? I don't see any! (Javascript doesn't work in my browser, so I'm limited in what I can click on on this site.) I've mostly been entering drawings that I've sold already, so they are no longer in my possession. Kind of hard to make a step-by-step on a work I no longer possess. ( 5 years and 2478 days ago )
robvdn: @kimartist: don't want to sound rude but maybe you should try out another browser like Firefox or Chrome. There's some important stuff you should read / miss. All the info is there, saying you can not read the rules does not mean you do not have to follow them. ( 5 years and 2477 days ago )
JamesP: Haha! not realistic?
I've always thought that surreal was a, if you will, a work that is close to real. Or something that could be real if a condition exsisted, that doesn't...

kimartist: @ robvdn: I AM using Firefox. I also have Opera and IE. There is a known bug that the developers are working to fix & I have no choice but to wait until that is accomplished. "...saying you can not read the rules does not mean you do not have to follow them." O, you are so right. Just as soon as I get my mental telepathy helmet out of the shop, I'll plop it on and tune it to: KPXL straight away. ( 5 years and 2473 days ago )

For "Retrato de Dos Mundos: Luis vs. Roshy" (Portrait of Two Worlds: Luis vs. Roshy), I used my brother as an inspiration. My brother is an artist as well, but his kind of art is different. He is a dancer and a DJ and he goes by the name of Roshy. In one of the many conversations he and I had he mentioned that Roshy is, in fact, his alter ego. Roshy is the confident guy that Luis (my brother) wants to be. He constantly battles between Luis and Roshy and says that Roshy usually wins these battles. Roshy is his safe house, and protects Luis from any harm.
