I love the way you've done the eyes. There's warmth and kindness there. Also, is it just me or does she look like she's right on the edge of laughter? I get the feeling this is a woman who smiled a lot.
IDt8R, Mom had a great smile but seldom would you hear her laugh, she was a vary serious type person who had a hard life but was a very kind and caring person.
Then I would say you captured her perfectly.
