Birds - Drawing Contest [16 entries]

Bald Eagle Picture

Winning entry, with a score of:
61.5%
Contest goal:

TRADITIONAL DRAWING: Draw a bird, it can be in a nest, setting on a branch or even flying, maybe just be hatching from its egg.
No color, just use shading to show us and use the name of the bird in the title, a nice addition would be a bit of information on the bird, so we learn about it too.
This is a traditional drawing contest, which means only scanned entries of handdrawn pictures are allowed.

The symbol of America this once near extinct predator/scavenger lives in the northwest region of North America. While fish are a main staple for this bird they are known to scavenge other kills as well. Ben Franklin wanted the Turkey as our national bird considering the eagle a less than noble scavenger.
