This is my first try at a digital drawing that was done with nothing but basic brushes and allot of experimentation on how to achieve certain looks without using styles, filters, or layer fx.
Was a real challenge but I do think I will try something like this again,

the glass brim should be facing front (follow the books angle)
the watch's glass should catch some light from the candle, add a small glass-reflection would be nice.
shape of glass should be smaller at the base of the wine.
the overall mood and colors-combination is great... wonderful first try
I think you did quite OK. I agree with aheman's comments about the glass brim and the watch face, but overall this is a great first attempt. For me, the most fun is the experimenting. I look forward to more of your entries!
