The facial expression I am showing is a smile which is used when you are happy to see someone. Also, it shows a bit of naughtyness (seeing a crush.lol.).
First of all, making this image was tough.......
I have made this from scratch.
I have used the pen tool, Elliptical marquee tool and gradient tool for the background.
I thought brushes were not allowed thats why I didn't even use the Eraser tool.
Also, used the pen tool to fill the face and the hair.
Pen tool saves the day.
Edit : I have removed the Gradient from the background. (5 years and 3728 days ago)

I'm glad you guys like my hard work. The reason for using the pen tool was I don't have a scanner or pen tablet or digi cam. Yeah, its sad.

Nice drawing...IMHO...I would lose the 'wassup' part.
i think u should add a dimple besides the smile..that wud look better.
I have made this in a simple way of vector art. And I don't need dimples. If I gave dimples, I'll also have to mark some cheek under his eyes and give more depth to his hair. So, just think adding all those would lose the simple look.
