GL!
Thanks Jaws. Is self criticism against the rules here? I sure hope not cause if someone dont tell me how the hands suck real bad Im gonna lose faith in this place! And anyone notice it hardly looks like the picture????? I have to say in my defense (lol im defending myself from myself) that I am not an Artist that enjoys copying stuff. But this contest requires one for comparison and since I was doing these as a present I went for it. The crappy sbs is because I was in such a hurry I forgot to shoot the steps with anything but my camera phone.. I spose I should wait till Mossy shows up.....shell kick me a few times for this one Im sure! JK!!!!!
Well my friend, you can be your own worst critic. But I'll agree a cellphone is probably not your best choice to shoot with.
As far as your other self critic, you're being WAY too hard on yourself. Seriously! I love your style and as far as looking like the original, well, it's a good match to me. However, I cannot paint like you author and honestly don't feel comfortable giving critique when I know you could paint circles around me... LITERALLY!!!
The only thing you need to improve is shooting your final work. Your style of painting is flawless to me.
Oh, and if you take any constructive criticism from Mossy, I'm going to personally come out to Cali and kick ya
j/k
First of all author...never be hard on your self...everyone has their own style and personality with their artwork...that is what makes it so wonderful. That is a great gift for your friend! And I love the idea with her on the bike! Good job.
Super cool drawings author...She is damn got...well done
very nice
thank you
i'm gonna say, yes..her hands do look a little wonky. just how they meet to the wrist and stuff...positioning is right, there is just some adjustments that could have been made. you seem like you want a critique, so i'm only saying what i see. i think you'd be happier if you skinnied up her wrist on the arm in the fore...just where it meets up with the hand.
NOT that i'm any good at that angle or whatnot...you did a fabulous job with this,a nd i'm betting you made a friend of yours very happy with this.
keep amazing me with your work. i love seein the things you come to the table with.
Another great piece!! Keep up the good work!!
Howdie stranger!
