Very nice work, but it needs some sort of perch. No background or perch makes it look like it's floating, or standing on tip-toe.
Great concept...the wood and leading seem disjointed...but I like it alot.

since its flat surface....

Totally great job , I like that you took the time and effort to make the glass stand out with shading and different tones. A few highlights on parts of it could have made the feeling of light shining through from the back
