author.. looking at your teacup/service platter design.. I think you should research MOORCROFT pottery.. you already got the feel for it and Ms. Bishop would be an inspiration to you (Not to mention if you learned about tubelining you'd probably have a blast with the idea.. when I sold the stuff I'd hold a vase in my hand for two hours, just marveling at the wonderful textures and feels (this piece reminds me of that)... Great job on this.. good luck!!!
wow, I feel so small looking at this great piece of art. The plates are my favorite = )
The service ware is very very well done , nice sharp and crisp, but the cake is a bit blurry in spots.very nice entry over all .
Thanks Glockman I tried to clean up the edges some (assuming that is what you were talking about )
Driven - that is some cool stuff, I'm going to play with those ideas some, it would be cool to see a dd drawing contest for vases soon
Thats why I stay away from contests that you computer skilled people like. But I am slowly getting better.
Glockman, I got my first copy of photoshop in January this year - only got it because I bought my laptop form a guy I worked with. you say skill, I say luck. I have been drawing with pen and ink since I was a kid, but I have no idea on painting or color theory - I just look and if what I draw looks right then I'm almost happy
Thank you for the comments though, some day I want to be really good at this
I made a mistake with the layer style. I did it the hard way the first time, then re-did it with layer styles the second - I added a step to the sbs that shows how I got the same results as layer style - using the magic wand tool, and a whole lot of patients...
Nice work, perspective is a bit out on the tray.
Yum, indeed! Looks like real
Whoa! This is jumping out of the picture onto my tastebuds. Nice work!
And congrats again. The swirls make me want to dip my finger in there and steal a taste.
Nice Job Congrats
Howdie stranger!
