Great contrast in colors makes my eyes kinda cross though .

To Pearly.........Thats QUITE an assumption and an incorrect one at that. I have and can used oils before but they smell and take to long to dry. Todays Acrylic mediums are of such versatility that they can be worked wet on wet for days. Check out Soho acrylic paints. Hanging on to oil paints is like insisting film cameras are the only way to shoot pics.
