This is a friend I have that is very expressive. I decided to play with his face and this is what I got. I used a "B" graphite pencil on Canson paper. Original size is 8.5 X 11. All pictures are my own stock. (5 years and 3273 days ago)

It's cool, but more contrast wouldn't hurt, in the pics his hair & ribbon are darker than his shirt - in your drawings is not always the case. Also in pics, the guy always has clear highlights ( either on cheek or on his nose), because he's sweaty, they trully shine. If you have a white crayon, you could make this more clear.

This is ink on paper.

I cut out the face on a sheet of paper with a knife then placed the cut out paper over a white piece of paper the rolled black ink over the cut out paper - like a silk screen effect.

It represents being with the one you love over the holidays. (5 years and 3656 days ago)

i have used this form of art.. i love the effect that it produces... you did a great job. love the sentiment behind your creation and the thought that you have put in to create it.
