What I've learned...red does not upload well. I resorted to using gaussian blur on the red parts and shrinking the image down to a height of 500 pixels, trying to make the upload look as well blended as it does on my home image. This is as good as its gonna get. (5 years and 3707 days ago)

Thanks Golem, yes, indeed my fingers were black, my wrist hurt. The reason I use a cotton swab is because it blends the smudging nicely, sometimes, I have to do it several times, pressing down to get the effect I want. I use those big cotton swabs that doctors have in offices. The smaller ones, break appart.
Nicely drawn still life. It shoes a definite personal style.
Excellent! Only, it seems like the grapes are too small. But who cares? I really like the composition. High points.
