Nice image. I am curious as to how you created the background, being that only the basic brushes are allowed. Did you make the brush? Good Luck.
I did not used any brush. I created a black layer, then go to filter-render-clouds. Then I did some manipulations with the hue and saturation. Finally I resize it and decreased the opacity. Thats it.

Since you are new, you should read the guidelines for digital drawing. The use of filters is not allowed.

Remember that scene from the James and the Giant Peach movie when james is with his family enjoying the beach, yeah this seascape is based on that, from what i remember anyway. mechanical pencil & colored pencils. (5 years and 2999 days ago)
Really nice work on the brown cliff and the ocean!
Yeah, I liked drawing the ocean the best though...it felt calming and peaceful somehow.
