The lilies would not be so brightly illuminated in the night...
Also, the moon positioned dead center and behind them emphasizes the unrealistic lighting...I'd suggest eliminating it, and just titling this "Lilies..."
awesome.. my fav..
Thanks for your comments.
Mossy, unfortunately the original image had entirely different colours - more subtle and in earthly-like tones. The problem is that I created the image in CMYK mode instead of RGB, but I discovered it after I had finished painting it. The result is the bright colours.
If you know how I can convert from CMYK to RGB without colour loss please let me know.
I Love the look of this. Great Job author!
Author, I think if you go into Menu->Image->Mode and then choose RGB and flatten the layers it if it asks you to, then you should be able to convert it to RGB with just a slight variation in colour. CMYK colours definitely do not view well on screen. Hope it works out, GL.
Really nice flowera, just not sure on the background. The moon is way to dominant and a little to centered for me.
I like this style. Its very bold. But I have to agree about the moon. It detracts from your wonderful flowers. Maybe if you move it off to the right a little a make it not so bright, It would allow your flowers to show off more.
Thank you all for your suggestions. Mad, I will try this and hope it will come out better.
Also, I will try to do something with the moon.
Beautiful colors. Nice contrast here!
Love it!
To late to change it but I really see no problem with the moon itself, but I would dim the contrast on it so it is not so bright.
beautiful
