This is a friend I have that is very expressive. I decided to play with his face and this is what I got. I used a "B" graphite pencil on Canson paper. Original size is 8.5 X 11. All pictures are my own stock. (5 years and 3273 days ago)

It's cool, but more contrast wouldn't hurt, in the pics his hair & ribbon are darker than his shirt - in your drawings is not always the case. Also in pics, the guy always has clear highlights ( either on cheek or on his nose), because he's sweaty, they trully shine. If you have a white crayon, you could make this more clear.

this is one of my old drawing i got the idea when i saw a upside down pot near a dead tree, so i draw it on a small piece of paper with HB pencil only.
SBS are made by redrawing the work again on a new paper (5 years and 3545 days ago)
