Great drawings author...love the creation but its very very sad...best of luck
Oh no...I didnt think it was sad....it is like that at the end of winter where I live...and the morning fog rolls around in the cool morning as the warm sun begins to come out on the cold winter ground...the trees do not have their "spring blooms" yet...it has a look and mood that may seem sad to some....but I still can appreciate your comment. Thankyou...and maybe my next piece will be in full bloom!
I liked the mood. It portrays hope. The colors are nice transition of warmth slowly overcoming the cold. Nice 1 author. GL.
For some reason it reminds me of a burnt forest. The fire moves away leaving behind skeleton trees.
Great work.
Beautiful work!
I love the trees author.
Great technique and beautiful result.
wonderfully done..well done..GL
Lovely
Oh! Wow! This is actually really cool how you got the water textures and colors like that in the sky. Such a lovely entry! It's simply inconceivable not to fav it. GL!

I hope you like my new entry :) I painted it from my imagination. This is painted in Oil Paints with the wet-on-wet technique. This is my second EVER painting so I'm open to all sorts of criticism and advice.
I'll try to explain what I did since his painting was done a while ago and I didn't take pictures.. Sorry.. Well..
Before applying the oil paint I covered the canvas with a thin even coat of Bob Ross' Liquid White to allow me to blend colours on the canvas.. The Tree Bark was done with a palette knife and so were the mountains and rocks, first a dark outline and then gently touching the canvas with the knife that has some titanium white onto it. Finally the water fall was done with a fan brush and the splashes with a fan brush full of paint and I sort of flicked it on if you know what I mean! :D

She feels the love and warmth of the sun rising. Its her day, Its her time. Today she will shine.
I've drawn and gave her colour on ps, used burn and dodge, and outherglow (5 years and 3747 days ago)
I love the colors interacting in this piece. I actually like the unfinishedness of the background sketchiness. In a way the whole thing shouldn't work... but somehow it really does. there is a personality to it, that is intriguing. The flow and lines are on the verge of chaotic but remain quite lovely.
Superb !
Very creative! GL!

nice work
Finally. An entry! Very nice! GL
You make very good use of your darks at the bottom of the image but the shadows at the top of the image aren't as dark. It makes the image look like it's fading out upwards.
excellent shadow work.....GL
That looks much better now! Don't be afraid to use your darks; they really make the image work.
thanx visba
Extremely well done...almost looks like a charcoal drawing. Very nice indeed.
Very nice

Very nice. This has the feel of a plein air sketch, resembling value sketches used by many professionals before they start to paint

Love the feel to this....it is so nice! Great job.
Yeah!!!! Nice blues. You should do a lot more of this type of painting Author. You appear to be a natural and if so you will improve in great strides. Wet in wet is awesome!
Same texture with the oil application as your first one. was easy for me to know this was yours. simple approach but nice colors and the composition is OK also. Makes for a nice winter scene g.l.
Lovely light.
Fantastic drawing and painting...best of luck author
