I have never tried acrylic on paper. It looks very much like watercolor. How on earth do you keep the paper from wrinkling up? Must be awful thick. Good luck to you author
For stretching the paper there are many techniques, my own tip, which applies only to acrylic and that's because these pigments do not fade from the water after dry.
step 1: Make glue from flour and water 1/1
step 2: wetting the paper very well ( I usually use common paper for watercolors)
Step 3: smear the glue with a brush on the back of the paper, careful not to touch the painting surface .
step 4: I stick the paper to an already wet flat wood surface ( like MDF, woodboart ..).Let dry well. Then paint . The paper is completely flat. Dry the painting.
step 5: finally wetting the wood surface(and the painting) until comes off completely,. That’s it .
I hope to give you to understand.
That's for that useful technique, author! It's a fabulous work that you've done here and your choice of medium is very impressive. GL!
great
And also congrats for your third place!
congratulations again!
