I think you need to try taking your photos in natural light...so people can see your work better.
did you do alot of this with knife?
another thing, edges aren't very visable...it would be good to add just a bit of dimension there, perhaps by a lighter line around some of them... i realize it might not be what you were going for in terms of style..but it would benifit the viewer immensely.
