When I saw this contest I remembered a lighthouse I had seen in Denmark in the late 90's cut off from the sea by sand hills.
Couldn't find any photos but managed to find some video I had shot at the time. I used that as my source.
More about the lighthouse;

There are 2 laws of making a good drawing: perspective & values. That means horizon&light. I say this here, hoping your competitors read too : the first line in any drawing must be the horizon line, the second one must be direction of the light.
Besides that:
Rubjerg Knude! Thanks for sharing, i really like that lighthouse now. You could invest a bit more in details, cause the tower had some nice architecture. Also making texture in drawing it's pretty tough, but i'm sure wonderful things can be achieved by patience.
Keep at it, you'll always find solace in art
Thanks for your input, it's appreciated. I always have trouble with perspective, and am really no good at drawing, but figure if I keep trying I will get better.
Start by copying photos and tracing the perspective lines on top. If you do that a couple of time, you'll get how it works.
Thanks
Very nice even if it does look like a prison guard tower, good marks.
Howdie stranger!
