Wonderful drawing!!
I love to watch the fire works from far ,they look like big colored flowers in the sky,so i draw them the way i like to see them
i dont take screen shots when Iam drawing ,so i used the layers for makking the SBS
on this work i was traning on drawing the fire works so done on Photoshop with normal soft brush (5 years and 3648 days ago)
Wonderful drawing!!
cut back on the "crosshatch" star brushes or at least vary their sizes and opacity. The lights will also reflect on the clouds, so that may be something you can explore. The part in the middle looks almost like water indead of clouds. Nice mood/colors over all.
Thanks annabat , i have fixed them , so how it look now ?
Very nice. =)
i like what you did but im not sure about the people. it looks like you have a reflection that is in water, but then you have people so i guess they must be on the ground. well i still think its good.
Very nice work! I think the cloud of color produced by the fireworks could be a little bit bigger and softer.
Good work

16"x20" Acrylic on canvas, no reference just imagination. (5 years and 3657 days ago)
I love this one , more then the Christmas card entry. The eyes and smile bring your dragon to life. The little teeth are a nice touch also. What can i say high marks from me , i am a sucker for dragons especailly purple ones.. All the best with your entry author.
I like your choice of medium. I could tell it was acrylic when I first saw it. A unique choice for the topic and great show of imagination. GL author!

This is what would happen if my imaginary dog and I ever found ourselves making gingerbread before, during or after the holiday season. "After all, what fun is a cookie if you can't eat it?" Heres my answer to that question: Just take a look at my illustration in High Resolution; lots of fun!

This is so much fun! There is a great sense of chaos and little tiny dramas! Great story telling! there are TINY perspective issues, but not noteworthy! Great entry!
the dog adds another element of kaos... great story telling .. is this from experience author??? heeeee

LOL, thanks George. At least someone cares to comment
Good try ....It is true, the first day of the Chinese New Year is for the welcoming of the deities of the heavens and earth....I hope that we will see this in the sky like in your drawing....Good luck to you!
