In this piece I used five colors. This is an imaginary scene done in acrylic. There is no source image. (5 years and 3219 days ago)
Wow! Nice work! GL author!
This is an oil painting I made of the Yosemite Valley view you see when exiting the last tunnel through the mountains. If you've been there, you know is breath taking. Pictures are my own stock. (5 years and 3452 days ago)
Wow! Nice work! GL author!
very nice....gl
Lovely, hoping to make the trek out there this early sept if all goes well.
nice work author ................
Thanks all for your comments.
Lovely work, best of luck
Really nice color on the mountains. It adds a sense of atmopshere to the piece. I like the rock texture and almost wonder if the trees could use the same texture and remain as suggestive in their presence rather then more noted with the detailed work.

Very nice composition, but the tree branches are too symmetrical on the left, like the teeth on a comb. You need to paint some branches in the middle of the tree facing the viewer. Branches need to overlap and grow from different directions, not just the sides.
Here is a tutorial about painting pine trees you may find helpful:
