When I watch TV I often dream of what I've seen. I'd like to think that the TV that I watch is up in my head, my own creation, when I sleep, therefore, I am what I watch, and the show stars me and my creations.
The first step I took was to tell my buddy to sit very still in that pose, so I could do a quick-sketch of the basic shape I wanted. It all took off from there. (5 years and 3364 days ago)

I might of misunderstood the contest goal, but this is what I thought:
In this contest your goal is to draw something already broken(Earth Surface) because of the impact with other solid surfaces(Worm). From my point of view it sounds different. I am so confused.

I really like how the light hits the strings by the bridge. A small suggestion, the 6th string is a little to far to the right.

beautiful Perspective.. just lovely!!! (love the height) the crescent hole is a great unique touch (now I want to hear it to see what effect it would have)... I would like to see you add the pick guard though.. It's always fun to look at Guitars pick guards.. especially if they are made with marbled plastic.. hehehe.. (I'm weird that way)
saddle and bridge are MARVELOUS!!!
