Designing a strong, coherent graphic brand identity is one of the most rewarding tasks in graphic design. It is a unique opportunity to create something that will go on to be used in many different places, applications and designs. We'll begin by looking at the creation of the Rockable logo, look and feel and brand.

Have you ever found yourself in the situation where you need to take a poor-quality scan of a logo and make it into something scaleable and clean? Sure, you could recreate the logo from the ground up, but that’s time-consuming and labour-intensive. Whatwe're going to present here is a technique you can use to tidy up a noisy logo and make it into a vector graphic using Adobe Illustrator, quickly and effectively.
This tutorial assumes you have Illustrator. Other vector graphics programs may differ, so we can’t guarantee it’ll work the same way.

In this tutorial we hope to illustrate some of the process of logo design using Adobe Illustrator. However, we must stress, this is not so much a tutorial on the use of Adobe Illustrator as it is a way to show you one method of the "process" of refining an image to a corporate identity (logo) or stylized illustration. The basic process here could be applied to any application.
