Used the quick selection tool to select the portion of the cotton plant that I wanted then pressed control-J to copy it to its own layer. Used the clown tool and this picture of my dog Skipper.
step 2 of 2
Used the clone tool to cover any cotton I did not want in the image and also to remove the stem. Duplicated the cotton plant and used the clone tool to create the outline of the cottonSquatch.
