Here is the diassembled mouse all the pieces are made from one of the 2 chillis. Using warp and liquify to make the required shapes. Then using hue and saturation to colour each part, after which I used dodge and burn to add some shading.

Here is the disassembled tree and branch, I used the same techniques described in step 3 to achieve the required results, only this time I used the twirl filter to add knots to the branch.

The leaves and berries are made from both red and green chillis, with some dodge and burn to add shading, leaf veins and highlights.

The background is a simple blue to light blue gradient, the clouds are soft large white brushes. I applied gaussian blur to the clouds to add depth and bring the mouse forward.
