OK my first step was to make my butterfly. I used the pen tool to draw the butterfly. Or you can use the custom shape tool to draw.

Now take the eye part of your mask. and cut it in half. as shown.

Now open your draw butterfly and wrap the half mask around the butterfly wings.

Cut any part of the mask crown and paste inside the eye part of the mask.
Continue step, 1 ,2,3,4 to complete butterfly

Cut off the gold part to make the butterfly body.
