cut out pod and placed it over hand, using displacement

coloring the pod texture red

made the pod smaller and reshaped it to make claws

added the pod to image and made it glow with a plug in called luce, gave link to it on my links
step 7 of 8
added mist to the background
step 8 of 8
played with it until I got it to where I liked the way it looked
