First I chopped out completely the cat only leaving the background area

next I duplicated the background layer to get an idea of how to shape the box image in the background

Next I chopped out a small piece of the box to add in

Then I added it in and started to fill in the area with the vanishing tools and some cloning and healing with a bit of burn

I then added used the vanishing tool and lots of cloning to add in the rest of the flooring and such till I had a completely empty area

I then chopped out my cat and kept a back up copy for other areas
step 7 of 9
Here I erased with the mask to get just the head area
step 8 of 9
I used another portion of the cat to make the back end and just turned it around a bit and also used another portion for the resting foot
step 9 of 9
I then merged the cat together and merged with my background layer and added some shadowing to the cat and a bit more of the burn for the inside of the room in the background.
