This guide was made for entry:
Tile Rooster
In Contest:
dance floor
Original image
step 1 of 9
Started with a silhouette of a rooster that I made for a shirt a while ago. Then added the tile work to it.
step 2 of 9
Artwork with image
step 3 of 9
Then I copied one tile to use as the shingles on the barn. Then I layered them on top of each other.
step 4 of 9
Finished shingles
step 5 of 9
Then positioned the rooster where I wanted him.
step 6 of 9
Then flipped the rooster to outline for a shadow then on the original shingles I used the burn tool to create a shadow.
step 7 of 9
Then went into Microsoft PowerPoint and used an autoshape (32-Point Star)
Then filled it in with the tile texture.
step 8 of 9
Then placed the sun accordingly to the shadow.
step 9 of 9
Then used the burn tool and dodge tool to add shadowing to the barn and lighten the sun a touch so the rooster stands out.
