I began by creating my model in DAZ Studio...I used a basic Vic4. changed skin to mapless, and started fixing her up with some accessories....(earrings, facial piercings, all found in the freebie section at renderosity.com)
I posed my model using a preset from a pose pack, originally I wanted her to be holding a cigarette, so I imported a cigarette, head spikes, and a mat for blood elf skin to change skin color and add makeup & nail color. (all mats and accessories found at renderosity.com)
step 3 of 15
I played with the facial expression a little bit, and brought my model into Bryce for rendering....(shown here is the Bryce wireframe)
step 4 of 15
Shown here on top is the Bryce wireframe closeup, which I decided I didn't like when I rendered, and brought my model back into DAZ to take out the cigarette and readjust the hand....
step 5 of 15
I brought my model back into Bryce again for rendering, decided I liked this closeup, added one light for effect, used a full black sky and black ground plane (no reflection)
step 6 of 15
This is my final Bryce scene in wireframe, top and front views, displaying the objects I've used and their placement.
step 7 of 15
On a black background, I placed my rendered model....
step 8 of 15
I used a brush preset from Urban Floral Brushes by Rawox (I'll look for a link, but you can probably find it on numerous sites) to fill in a design on her face, and layered in on soft light...
step 9 of 15
I blended this pic I took using my Kodak Easyshare Z612 (will upload orig in next step) over the model on hard light and lowered the opacity....
step 10 of 15
the original toll booth pic....taken at night in a moving car on manual settings...
step 11 of 15
I layered another copy of my model with a gaussian blur on top of the other layers, on soft light, and I'm done.
step 12 of 15
layered image of rust texture on overlay, changed hue to add more red/orange tones...

these are my notes to the owners of the images I borrowed, notifying them I have used their stock, according to their rules, will post the replies when I get them.
Also, small change, but I forgot to mention that when I went back in to add the textures, I deleted the decoration around her eye....
step 15 of 15
I said I'd post replies from source owners in my SBS...here's the first, still waiting for the second.
