step 1 of 8

In your new image, click on the arrow right next to Sky and Fog. This will let you pick a preset sky. I picked The Edge.

Creation of Pollution: Step 1

step 2 of 8

I rendered the scene and this is what it looks like. After, I changed the color of the fog and moved the fog setting to 100 37.

Creation of Pollution: Step 2

step 3 of 8

I then clicked on the main terrain and clicked on the arrow next to edit. I applied Grassy Peaks III.

Creation of Pollution: Step 3

step 4 of 8

Here it is partially rendered.

Creation of Pollution: Step 4

step 5 of 8

I clicked on Create and then clicked on the mountain to make a new terrain.

Creation of Pollution: Step 5

step 6 of 8

I duplicated the terrain a few times and edited the material to the desired look. I resized, lowered and moved the terrains also. I added a new terrain and set the material to water. I clicked on the E next to the 3D model and lowered the terrain real low so it would have some waves but not look choppy. I positioned this terrain in the middle of the small mountains I arranged--this makes it look like a pond or flooding.

Creation of Pollution: Step 6

step 7 of 8

To make the culvert you must click on Create and click on the cylinder. You have to make the properties positive. Duplicate the cylinder and make the properties negative. you then have to make the duplicate smaller and then longer than the original. You must then group the two and then you have a hollow cylinder.

Creation of Pollution: Step 7

step 8 of 8

I then moved the culvert (cylinder), added a material to it and brought it down under the water somewhat to where I wanted it. I added the cans by making regular cylinders and brought down the size and put them partly in the water. I tweaked the terrains a bit for the desired look and then rendered the scened.
