the first thing i did was render my scene in Bryce (model creation SBS will follow), this is the rendered scene.

I placed my rendered image over a black layer...

placed source image, adjusted the levels to darken, masked out some areas to reveal all of my rendered model...
step 6 of 6
copied that layer and added a light filter....
