I searched sxc for something suitable and found this waste paper bin and looking at it I could see a face.

I made a selection of the side of the lid, duped to a new layer, rotated and skewed.

I did the same with the top part of the lid and used the clone tool to fill in the areas.

next I used the pen tool to create a shape and filled with black.

I made a selection of the blue bin and stretched using the transform tool, to create the illusion of an open lid.

I selected the chute, duped to another layer and using the warp tool I shaped one eye. I used the clone tool to cover up the original chute.

I duped my eye and moved to the right.

I wanted glass teeth and found this pic on sxc.

I cutout the pieces with the pen tool.

I got my glass pieces into position.

I masked my glass pieces and duped onto another layer.
Top layer at 70%
Bottom layer 30%
I painted in the middle of each glass piece on the top layer to create more transparency whilst keeping a stronger highlight on the edges.

I didn't like the colour of the bin and wanted it to look more sickly, so I colorized with a yellow.

I used cflorinc's 'grunge car pic for the background.

I wanted a subject to put into the pic but couldn't find anything I liked, so I took some pics of myself and my favourite sandals that I usually wear with socks and shorts. (note for G-Man)

I got my pics in place.

I added layer masks.

I added some shadow.

Next I wanted to create a darker feel to the pic so used levels.

added contrast with curves.

I added some more shadow.
Finally I made a new layer to merge all into (command+alt+shift+E) and selected filter-render-lighting effects and added a spot light to the scene.
