Mountains my husband and I photographed in Tennessee were used for background. Colors were brought up by adjusting color balance, light, contrast.
step 2 of 8
Bear was photographed when we visited a huge sporting goods store in Michigan.
step 3 of 8
Here I decided I needed more horizontal space, so enlarged the canvas size.
step 4 of 8
I chopped the bear from its photo and moved it into my enlarged canvas, then finished working on cleaning up edges against the sky in order to view the edges better.
step 5 of 8
Sun glasses are taken out of source photo, also my own, and cleaned up with eraser tool, then added to bear.
step 6 of 8
My photo of girl w sunglasses. Glasses were removed, and adjusted for size in Edit/transform mode, then positioned to fit bear's nose with other transform tools.
step 7 of 8
This photo from an inn we visited in the Adirondacks was used to fashion the sign. Text mode was used to put text in after using the clone tool to remove old text and retain the textured look.
step 8 of 8
From the trees in my photo I fashioned the post for the sign. The nail was drawn with the brush tool.
