Paste the zebra into a photoshop document. Create a new layer. Use the elliptical marquee tool and feather. Use the paint bucket tool to fill the selection with black.

Duplicate the zebra. Use a layer mask with the selection of the black layer on the zebra. Hide the black layer and the original zebra.

Paste the first stock image behind the zebra layer.

Hide the zebra layer. Paste the second stock image. Select most of the image using an elliptical marquee. Feather the selection. Select inverse. Delete as needed.

Use Diffuse Glow on the second zebra stock layer. Show the Zebra layer.

Hide all the layers except the first stock image. Create a new layer. Use the gradient tool (White to Transparent) on 50% opacity.
