Base of candle is removed using clone tool to extend alter.
step 3 of 7
Candle was slightly tilted in photo, so I used the edit/transform/perspective tool to straighten it up.
step 4 of 7
Candle holder from main source has been masked carefully using eraser tool with shift key to get better edges. It is placed on a layer to the front of the candle.
step 5 of 7
Lens flare is added at top of holder to show reflected light from the candle flame.
step 6 of 7
Here through color/balance I have taken the magenta up almost as far as it will go in order to cast a warm glow over the whole background and bring the color into same pallett as the holder.
step 7 of 7
It seemed that the candle holder still needed more dimension, so I used the burn tool on many edges to get the better 3D effect. I used a rather soft brush (15%) to keep the burn soft.
