Alligator's head placed on and roughly blended

Part of the alligator was selected and placed on to the squirrel.

The texture was duplicated various timnes and blended with the blend mode set to 'Lighten'

Shadows and higlights changed for better definition, and i also (before this step) removed one of the squirrel's ears.
