duplicated masked out fuse box several times, adjusted and merged....
step 4 of 23
first layer of masked out face from one of my old bryce works...i dodged and burned along the way, so these layers look a little messy
step 5 of 23
the original bryce image i was working with....will upload into my bryce stock if it isn't already there
step 6 of 23
i layered my merged fuse boxes on top of the face, and erased at different levels of opacity for blending
step 7 of 23
another face layer with an inner shadow, blended on vivid light
step 8 of 23
used a portion of wire from the fuse box, duplicated it several times and arranged it over the side of the face, gave a shadow and bevel/emboss
step 9 of 23
copied it and layered over other side of face...masked to fit
step 10 of 23
i think the first layers of the face ties were chnged to a bluish green hue, and i layered the black filled layers on top on soft light to darken...
step 11 of 23
other set of face ties on soft light...
step 12 of 23
another layer of the face on vivid light and lowered opacity, with a section cut out to reveal fuse boxes beneath....
step 13 of 23
black fill layer with a lens flare (i burned out the streaks of light), blended on lighten for a glow effect in the eyes...
step 14 of 23
same thing for other eye...
step 15 of 23
i duplicated the face layer and masked some of it out, added bevel and emboss and shadow...
step 16 of 23
placed texture image GrungemapsWeird0007 (Texture: #22351) from cgtextures.com, masked it to show behind the eyes, and blended on linear dodge at a lowered opacity
step 17 of 23
copied blue satuated layer of face ties and masked to fit the eyes....
step 18 of 23
same thing with other eye
step 19 of 23
copied face tie layer again, and cut out this shape from it, which i layered on 0 fill opacity, added bevel/eboss
step 20 of 23
used brushes from "Nuts Bolts and Screw Brushes" by ~robotc at deviantart.com to create the screws....added shadow
then, to create the hair and wires, i cut out the longest wire from my masked out fuse box, duplicated and arranged to create the wires, then dulicated and warped to create the hair.
step 22 of 23
i forgot to add these layers to my sbs....to get the color contrast, i blended this layer over the rest....
step 23 of 23
then this one.....
and that is definitely the end.
