in a new file 650X850, i draw shape like a book with the pen tool,then i took a part from the source image to make the book cover
adjust color, then free transform and prespectiv tool to make it fix the book, then made a copy from ths layer for the bottom cover.
made the bottm cover darker with the burn tool then add anew layer of black color on it

made the papers of the book or the diary with the pen tool fill it whit then draw black and gray line on it then smudge

on the same way of making the cover Ihave made the black part then burn tool to make it darker
as for the background, ididnt want to use any images so i made it with the gradient tool on a black color
for the final touch ,made the shades with the brush tool
