Out de source I cut the area I wanted to work on. Then three copies were made and each one was flipped horizontally and/or vertically.

With pen tool I created curves following the lines on the leaf. I stroked the path with a soft brush having 'simulate pressure' checked. Layer style was applied.
step 3 of 5
Same process was used to draw the other lines. The layers were put into a folder I named 'left lines'.
step 4 of 5
A copy of the folder 'left lines' was made and named 'right lines'. I flipped it horizontally and adjusted the lines over de leaf lines. Drop shadow and shading was changed to opposite angle.
step 5 of 5
Just above the image a gradient fill layer was created and overlay blending was applied.
