Garden and gazebo are from my own photo from a friend's garden.
step 4 of 9
First, the small amount of greens are brightened with brightness/contrast tool, then cloned over dunes to change them to a lush look.
step 5 of 9
Garden gazebo is chopped out of source and moved over background layer. Color changes have to be made with adjusting tools so that greens of foreground stand out against greens of hills.
step 6 of 9
Garden scene is duplicated using the 'alt' key, then moved to left to fill in foreground with flowers. Edges must be blended with smudging tool, and some cloning can be done also to blend duplicated area into rest of garden.
step 7 of 9
Now the bride and groom are cut out of source with lasso tool (just circle area to be removed with lasso tool, then that area can be moved into scene. Move the bride and groom into gazebo area, then with eraser tools, mask out background. Shadows are placed on bride and in front of bride using burn tool.
step 8 of 9
Sailboats are added by cutting them out of source photo with lasso tool, then moving them into lake, masking out with eraser tools, then scaling them down to fit (edit/transform/scale) Then layers of boats and background are merged (using layers/merge down - make sure one is directly above the other on the layers window) and then reflections are blended into
water already there using
smudge tool and cloning tool.
step 9 of 9
Clouds are added to soften the sky with the airbrush tool set at a low (10-15) setting, also, across some of farthest mountain to seem like a layer of atmosphere, making it seem further away.
