A Work in Progress: Canned Good

I opened my source images the can image and the good girl image.

I made my can selection and placed it on my working area/canvass.

step 3 of 26

In the same way with the good girl image to the working area/canvass.

I brought up the good girl layer on top of the can layer.

I changed the layer opacity of the good girl layer and add a layer mask.

step 6 of 26

I masked the girl that it would fit on the can and then desaturated it.

step 7 of 26

I merged the good girl layer with the can layer.

step 8 of 26

I blurred my merged layer (good girl and can layers).

Using my blur tool in the tools panel.

I duplicated my merged layer (the good girl and can layers) and then transformed the duplicated layer.

I flip it horizontally and send it to the back of the original merged layer.

Again I merged the two layers.
The original merged layer and the duplicated one.

I formed a simple letter G out of the merged layer.

I merged the layers form which I formed the letter G.

Again from the merged layer I formed a simple letter O with the can heads up.

I formed another letter O but now it is flipped vertically, the can heads are down.

I merged the layers that formed my two letter O's.
I formed a simple letter D.

I arrange my merged layers to form the word GOOD.

I merged all of my layers that formed the word GOOD.

I performed a few tricks.
I duplicated and nudge the merged layer to form a 3d type image.

Again I merged all of my layers including the duplicated layers I used when I was duping and nudging.

I duplicated the merged layer and and transformed the duplicated layer.

I flipped the duplicated layer vertically.

I rotated my canvass form landscape into portrait.

I also rotated my image to form a robotic figure.

I duplicated my robotic figure.
I transformed my duplicated robot figure.

I flipped it vertically and adjusted layer opacity and fill opacity.

I made two small red squares for my robotic figure.

I made a text layer containing the words " Canned Good ".

I warped it using the FISH Style.

I transformed it and flipped it vertically.

I made a duplicate of it and placed it on the other side.

Transformed and flipped horizontally.

I merged all of my layers.

I applied a layer style for my background layer.

I applied Gradient Overlay Effect.

Now Im good to go....

A simple robotic manipulation from the good girl and the can.
