7. I crop the young blonde source image and drag it over to the grandma image and change the opacity to view both layers.

9. I erase the young blonde’s face.

11. Using the clone stamp tool, I fill in some of the gray hair.

12. I realize that I’m better off selecting a section of the young blonde’s hair and select the area I want to replace to create a mask.

14. Using polygonal lasso tool, I select the lips and select inverse to remove the dark shadow around the lips.

15. I then select polygonal lasso tool.

16. This time I select the right eye brow and adjust the contrast/brightness to darken. I repeat later with the other eyebrow.

17. Using polygonal lasso tool to select the whole face I adjust the brightness and contrast to better match the neck.

21. I decide to crop down to the face to make the main focus.

23. To give the left eye a line over it like the right eye, I use polygonal lasso to select the live over eye with a 1 pixel feather, copy, paste and flip horizontally using free transform to match the other eye.

24. I adjust the brightness and contrast to match the tone. Finally, after various touch-ups with liquefy, sharpen, blur, dodge and burn to get the right Depth and shadow.
