with first copy use pen tool and cut out petals

second copy cut out circle

now in a new layer make a black circle - reduce opacity - using layer mask remove some black and with brush tool add some shadow to give the illusion of a bubble. Then place layer over your metal circle. Place both layers above pedals layer.

this is your flower head. Use levels - smart sharpen - and add some white highlights with brush tool.
step 9 of 9
for your stem use a copy of your metal petal and bring into liquify and then cut and place behind petal to create flower. Place flower in hand and erase part of stem so it fits into hand.
