Girl's face has been masked out and moved to new canvas. Also windsocks of three colors have been isolated with lasso tool and moved into the canvas.

Wind socks are masked out and are rotated (edit/transform/rotate tool) to be moved onto head.

Smudge tool is used to round off ends of socks, and edit/transform/perspective and distort tools used to change socks to shapes desired. Scale tool will also be used to get desired sizes.

Stripes are airbrushed onto face using lower opacity first then higher toward center of stripes. Eraser tool is used to refine the edges. Colors are chosen from wind socks with color selection tool so they will match.

Lips are designed using a red color selected from the darker portion of girl's lips. The paint brush tool is used to draw them. The Smudge tool will be used to refine edges. Lighter shade of pink will fill in between lips.

Harlequin suit is lassoed and moved into image then scaled to fit.

Bells are added from marionette photo by using lasso tool.

Color/balance adjust tools are used to bring more color into the background - reds and yellows are brought up, also brightness and contrast are used to bring up colors. Windows will be added to tower using the brush tool.

Final shadow adjustments are made using the burn tool, and some highlights are added with dodge tool.
