masked out a mannequin head, then again masked out areas where i would blend in the hand on a very low opacity with feathered brush

used a flame from a candle from one of my own images, shaped to fit eye, layered on color burn...

i should have done this as step six....anyway, i copied the eye from the mannequin head, warped a little, masked edges on lowered opacity to blend into the hand....

i copied the head, stretched and warped, and layered over top of head on lowered opacity....

i copied the warped piece again, reduced size, masked out some, and used to give some more texture to the edge of hand...

shadow for the hand, just a duplicated and warped version of the hand, i increased the dark levels, lowered opacity, and erased what i didn't need.

copied ear from mannequin, flipped, warped, and placed on the other side of head...

duplicated hand and brought it to the top of my layers, set on darken to give more shading to the pinky, which was fading into the hand.

placed one gradient layer with light filter, right on top of my black layer, set to color burn
