A Work in Progress: Cone head

first i erased the hair

then using the pen tool i made the head and filled it with black

then i made the black layer into a selection by clicking ctrl/cmd. then with the original layer i used the clone stamp and filled in the selection. then i used the patch tool to smooth out the skin.

then i erased the shirt and made a copy of the skin and flipped it.

then using the pen tool i drew out the skin i wanted.

then i used the clone tool. to fill the selection like i did two steps ago.

then i drew the skin for the back layer.

then the same technique with the clone stamp

then i drew my head gear using the pen tool

then i added some string by drawing them with the brush and some burn and dodge. i also added some burn and dodge to the skin and head gear

then i added the texture. i had to make a copy of it and rotate it. then i set both of the opacities to about 15% maybe more

then i added a color overlay.

then i added a green color overlay and added some brush strokes with a soft brush and changed the opacities

then i added a color overlay just on the skin

i changed the color of the head gear
