Open photoshop & your rooster image to trace over.

Create a new layer
and select ONE piece e.g the coffee from the source image. Feather(& smooth) the selection if needed. Copy (Ctrl + C) then paste (Ctrl + V) over your reference image.

In effect you are tracing over it one piece at a time. Once you have pasted it on top of your rooster image- using the move tool, you can hold the alt key to quickly make new copies of the same piece (ctrl + t -free transform) to resize this piece as needed.

Keep and eye on your layers and merge down where needed.

I have shown where i got each peice from- so repeat the process with the new selections.

When finished delete the background and start a new layer and fill it with a solid colour ( i chose green).
