snake eyes
step 1 of 11
Created the die out of a 3 x 3 cube which I then extruded the divots out of.

Smoothed the die to round the divots.

Created the glass by revolving a curve

Duplicated the glass and detached surfaces at the level of the liquid.

Lofted the top of the liquid along 3 curved circles/.

Placed the dice on a elongated cylinder as the stick.

Created spilled liquid by deforming a poly plane.

Textured the die by mapping the uv's and painting in PS
step 9 of 11
Lighting supplied by a simple spotlight with raytrace shadows.

Glass texture created using a blin with ramps on Transparency, Reflectivity and Reflected Color.
step 11 of 11
Water created by plugging a blend color node into a blinn node.
