I used levels on a copy of the green chanel

Than i added a gradient and made a pattern of a small part of the picture. Than I fill a layer whit this pattern and chose a nice cutout.

In the end I made a copy of the basic picture and Erased the parts I did not want to use. I made three more copy's and put them in to place, put these layers together. Than I used a mask whit a gradient to fade this top layer in.
In the end I gave the layer a blending mode (lighter color).
