Transform this pattern to cover the whole layer, then transform it into 3D sphere.
step 3 of 11
Change the infinite light 1, 2 to have the bright side of the planet. The background is changed to black
step 4 of 11
Duplicate the planet layer, Gaussian blur, reduce opacity, blended with the lower layer. Move the planet to the right corner. Change the hue/saturation to have the blue pattern.
step 5 of 11
Extract the ground area on the source image to make the background (the universe).
step 6 of 11
Extract the pattern of the chain on the right to make the big planet (the same technique as the first one). Change the brightness, hue to get the yellow color. Make some twirls on the background by brush, radial blur and twirl (This can be changed later)
step 7 of 11
Duplicate the big planet, put into the lower layer, increase the outer light, rasterize then liquidized to have a aurora around the upper layer (one bright and one dark layer). Duplicate the big planet 4, 5 times, spin it around, blend with lower layers to have a high contrast and scatter cover.
step 8 of 11
Paint the star brushs of Photoshop on the surface and circumference of the planet
step 9 of 11
Make the light rays
step 10 of 11
Draw the bright hole (radial blur, twirl, transform to oval shape...) and stars
step 11 of 11
Cover the universe with different color cloud layers (brush, blur, hue)
